Thermostats

Simply press the face of the thermostat to change the temperature.  The face will change to a sequence of temperatures with the current temperature in the middle.  Turn the face left or right to go up or down to your desired temperature.

** Our experience in the cold weather is that the cabin will easily maintain a comfortable feel at 67 - 68 degrees, and allow the use of the gas fireplaces in 30 to 60 minute increments without overheating the rooms.

Living Room Gas Fireplace

The living room gas fireplace has a timer on the left side of the fireplace.   It has 30-60-90-120 increments.  Simply press and hold for a beat the button for the increment you want.  Our experience has been that the 30 & 60 increments are the best when spread out over time.    Please note that the stone above the fireplace will get hot to the touch, so caution should be used.

To enhance your experience, on the right edge of the fireplace are two vertical silver buttons.  This controls the color light that the fireplace displays.  The top button controls the color selection.  The bottom button controls the brightness and on/off control of the light.   Simply press the bottom button once to turn it on.  Then press to lower the brightness for a medium and low option and again to turn the light off.

Blue Room Sauna

To user the Wet Sauna, press the on/off button at the beginning of your shower.  Use the up arrow to set the temperature to a higher temperature such as 120.  It will take a few minutes for the sauna to produce a steam.  When the steam starts a full rolling steam production, use the down arrow to set the temperature at your desired temperature.

** SAUNA should be used only by adults, 18 years of age and up.  Children and older adults can quickly overheat and should not use the sauna.
